About the Project
"Let’s Dance" is an initiative dedicated to breaking down barriers and amplifying diverse voices through dance and creative expression. In collaboration with Apna Ghar Asian Elderly Day Care, Ghulab Ashram Housing, and new partnerships across Birmingham, this project fosters inclusivity and connection for elderly individuals, particularly within South Asian communities.
Our sessions bring together elderly participants, supporting them in rediscovering movement, rhythm, and joy. Whether it’s cultural dance, simple exercises, or shared storytelling through movement, the project celebrates the power of dance as a form of expression and well-being.
